WHAT IS JEUVEAU®?
Jeuveau® is a brand name for a type of injectable treatment called botulinum toxin type A. This medication is used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the face by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause them. Jeuveau® works in a similar way to other botulinum toxin type A products such as Botox®, Dysport, and Xeomin.
When Jeuveau® is injected into the muscles that cause wrinkles, it blocks the release of a chemical called acetylcholine. This chemical is responsible for signaling the muscle to contract. By blocking the release of acetylcholine, Jeuveau® causes the muscle to relax, reducing the appearance of wrinkles in the area. The effects of Jeuveau® usually last for about three to four months before gradually wearing off.
Jeuveau® has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, also known as glabellar lines. It is important to note that Jeuveau® should only be administered by a trained medical professional and that there are risks associated with any medical procedure, including the possibility of adverse reactions or side effects.

Who is a Good Candidate for Jeuveau®?
Jeuveau® is typically recommended for adults who have moderate to severe frown lines between their eyebrows, also known as glabellar lines. These lines can make a person appear angry, tired, or stressed, even when they are not. Jeuveau® can help to temporarily reduce the appearance of these wrinkles, giving the face a more youthful and refreshed look.
The best candidates for Jeuveau® are generally healthy individuals who are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and who do not have a history of certain neurological disorders, such as myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome. It is important to disclose your medical history and any medications you are taking to your healthcare provider before receiving Jeuveau® or any other botulinum toxin type A product.

DOES JEUVEAU® WORK?
