What can I expect after my procedure?
Most women keep their routine on the day of their procedure. Several days are needed to relax and take it easy, using cold compresses and ice packs to minimize swelling and discomfort. We encourage women to avoid activities that may cause friction to the labial area for the first 72 hours. Women should avoid sexual intercourse or the use of tampons for up to six weeks and can resume with a doctor’s recommendation.
